“Doings in Bartow—Linwood.”

The monotony of our town was broken by the marriage of Miss Mattie Kitchens to Mr. G. W. Gaines, of Anniston, Ala., which occurred last Thursday night at the home of the bride’s parents, on Main street, the ceremony being performed by Rev. John W. Edwards. Miss Mattie was beautifully attired and, like all other brides, was very pretty. We wish for them a long and happy life, and never a thorn or thistle to encumber their pathway.
