Wedded at Cassville.

An interesting wedding occurred at Cassville yesterday—that of Mr. Joseph B. Gordon to Miss Johnnie Cordelia Crawford. The wedding occurred at the Baptist church at 3:30 o’clock, the ceremony being performed by Rev. Charles E. Wright, of Chattanooga.

The bride is one of Cassville’s most popular young ladies. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. O. Crawford. The groom is a worthy young man, the son of Mr. John B. Gordon, of Gordon county.

The couple took the evening northbound train at Cass and will visit the home of the groom’s parents. [A longer notice of this wedding can be found in the June 3, 1897 paper, page 4.]
