On Sunday last Miss Offie Holmes, of Gordon county, came to Cartersville to attend the tabernacle meeting. She was met by Mr. T. F. Guyton according to a previous arrangement and procuring the necessary license the two sought Squire Watkins and were made one.

Again on Monday morning the services of Squire Watkins were called for by Mr. C. C. Williams and Miss Flora Bird who were also joined in the nuptial knot.

Both marriages were without the consent of the old folks, but all have perhaps been forgiven.
