Married.

On Thursday, 26 th of December, at 4:30 o’clock p. m., Miss Sallie Arnold and Mr. George W. Haley were married at the residence of the bride’s uncle, Mr. John P. Adair, of this city. Rev. A. J. Jarrell performed the ceremony in the presence of a few relatives and friends of the contracting parties.

Immediately after the ceremony they repaired to the dining room, where an elegant supper awaited them. Each guest was provided with a bouquet of violets, which formed a wreath around the centerpiece, with white ribbon extending from them to each plate. The house was beautifully decorated with holly and ivy.

They left next morning for Elberton, Ga., their future home, on the 5:50 train.
