“Kingston.”

On the 25 th of April, at the residence of the bride’s father, Capt. S. L. Bayless, Mr. Claude Irby and Miss Virginia Bayless were happily married. Rev. J. B. Craighill, of Dalton, officiated with the beautiful ceremony of the Episcopal church. The beautiful mansion was tastefully and appropriately decorated. Mr. S. I. Sheats and Miss Bell Bayless, Mr. Ed Bayless and Miss Barber, of South Carolina, were the attendants. Quite a number of friends were present. Mr. Barnes and Miss White, of Cartersville; Dr. J. D. Bowdoin and wife and the Misses Anderson, of Adairsville; Messrs. R. H. and Carl Dodd, of the 17 th district. Many beautiful presents were tendered the happy couple. The bride and groom have a host of friends and all wish them a happy and long life.
