One By One They Go.

It seems that the Walker county girls are determined to take all of Mr. Zimri Jackson’s boys from him.  The old man looks lonesome.  The following notices tell the tale.

Married, December 20th, 1881, at the residence of the bride’s mother, Mr. Willie Jackson, of Bartow, to Miss Cornelia Fricks, of Walker county, Prof. McTeer, of Rising Fawn, officiating.

Married by the Rev. Richard Baker, January 26th, 1882, Mr. George Jackson, of Bartow county, to Miss Florence Dickerson, of LaFayette, Walker county.

We don’t blame the Walker county girls for taking these boys, because they are first-class, industrious young men and deserve good wives.
