MARRIED.

At the residence of the brides father, on the 18th ult., by Rev. E. S. V. Briant, Mr. JAMES E. JOHNSEY, to Miss LOU GUYTON, all of Bartow county.

We cannot insert the above notice without a short comment, which we hope will be excused, as Mr. Johnsey and Mr. Smith are numbered among our most steady and industrious citizens, and we certainly do congratulate them on the consummation of their affiance with such lovely and inestimable ladies.  We hope our friend James and his dear Lula may always have their pathway strewn with flowers of peace, and may no cloud ever arise to darken their pleasures; and to our friend John we say, that he was quite right in esteeming the name of his companion too precious to change, for we think her worthy of her name.  We think John has made a good selection, since we have been permitted through the kindness of Mary to satisfy our appetites on some of the good things and rich viands that decorated the table at her nuptial feast.  Both the boys have done well. – F.
