Powell – Kay. The marriage of Miss Nellie Powell of Euharlee, Ga. to Mr. M. C. Kay, of Rome, Ga., occurred last Sunday afternoon at 3:30 at the beautiful home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Powell. Rev. Kay performed the ceremony. It was a solemn and impressive occasion, witnessed by a few intimate friends of the young couple. Both Mr. and Mrs. Kay are very popular. The bride is a beautiful blonde of many lovely traits of character. The groom is a man of fine business qualifications and possesses many of those superior qualities that go to the makeup of true and noble manhood. The bride was attired in a lovely traveling suit of brown, as they left immediately after the marriage on a bridal tour for Cincinnati and other points, where they will spend some time, then will return to Rome, where they will make their future home. They have a host of friends who wish them much happiness. |
