The following very interesting wedding invitations were received in the city Tuesday:
Mrs. Mattie Tyree Hervey
Requests the honor of your presence
At the marriage of her daughter
Rheta Plumb
To
Mr. Rees Marshall
On Saturday noon the fifteenth of June
One thousand nine hundred and seven
At twelve o’clock
102 East Thirty-seventh Street
Savannah, Georgia

This bride to be visited Cartersville last summer, the guest of Miss Marie Gilreath, and was exceedingly popular.  She is of a petite blonde type and she possesses a manner of much charm.  The groom elect, though a resident of Atlanta now, he is claimed as one of Cartersville’s own boys, a claim which will never be relinquished, so beloved is he by his hundreds of friends here.  He was reared in the home of his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Vivion, of this city and Cartersville will expect to see much of him and his wife.
