Fairmount.

As the Rev. S. J. Carter was on his way to this place last Saturday he was met by a young couple at the Little Springs, who informed the parson that they were on the run and wanted to be married and that quick.  Receiving the necessary papers that the groom was armed with, the parson tied the knot for them as quick as he could which made them man and wife.  The contracting parties were Mr. Mose Mealor and Miss Sophia Seaboat.
