At the residence of the bride, near Ironville, on the evening of the 14th inst., Mr. J. C. Milam and Miss Mattie Buford.  Rev. A. W. Buford officiating.

The bride is the daughter of the late Rev. A. W. Buford, and is a lady of superior intelligence, and many noble virtues.  Her splendid endowments make her a charming companion to the worthy groom, who is a man of most admirable qualities of both head and heart.  Besides being one of our leading cotton buyers, he is one of our most active and efficient county commissioners.  We wish them unbounded success and happiness.
