Keefe – Miller.

A wedding of prominence in Fairmount was that of Miss Carrie Keefe to Mr. John W. Miller.  The ceremony was performed at five o’clock on Tuesday afternoon at the home of the bride’s parents.  The parlor and reception rooms were artistically decorated with palms, ferns and tapers.  The bridal party entered to the strains of the wedding march played by Miss Eva Fuller.  The little sister and niece of the bride led, holding the white satin ribbons, following these came the attendants, Miss Bonnie Hendricks, of Cartersville; Miss Bessie Carr, of Fairmount; Mr. C. P. Bussant, of Etowah, Tenn., and Mr. Carl Asworth, of Ranger.  The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Minnie Keefe.  Mr. Glen G. Harris, of Fairmount, was best man.  The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. H. Bailey.  A lovely reception followed, during which the bridal couple took their departure amid a shower of rice and congratulations. The presents given this popular couple were many and handsome.  Mr. and Mrs. Miller will be at home to their friends after a two week’s trip north.
