Some two hundred or more invited guests assembled at “Valley View,” the Sproull homestead, five miles from Cartersville, last evening, November 17, to witness the marriage of Capt. WM. H. MITCHELL, of Nashville, Tennessee, to Miss E. CLOPTON SPROULL.  The ceremony, beautiful and impressive, was performed at 8 o’clock, by Rev. Theo E. Smith, of this city.  The attendants were Mr. Ed. R. Richardson and Miss Minna Marshall, Mr. James C. Sproull and Miss West, Mr. Jas. Richardson and Miss Norton, Mr. Ed Buford and Miss Mills, Mr. Wm. M. Towers and Miss Milner, Mr. Geo. Aubrey and Miss Hamilton.  After the ceremony, and until one o’clock, the numerous guests enjoyed the occasion with dancing, music or conversation—as suited the tastes of each.  At 11 o’clock supper was announced, when the throng was ushered into the dining rooms to partake of a superb repast and to further enjoy the hospitality of the distinguished hostess.  Happiness beamed from the countenance of the whole crowd, but none seemed so perfectly contented and satisfied as the splendid looking groom and his handsome bride.  We should like to enter minutely into a description of all pleasant occurrences of the night, but the hour is late, and this paper must go to press.
