Folsom.

Married, at the residence of the bride’s father, on Tuesday, the 22nd ult., at 10 a. m., Miss Carrie May Osburn to Mr. S. Mobley, of Rome, Rev. A. J. Buford officiating. The bride and groom were attended upon the right by A. F. Elrod and Miss Stella Osburn and upon the left by Everard Mobley and Miss Gertrude Osburn. The bride was richly dressed in brown silk and looked real lovely. Miss Stella, in old rose henrietta, Miss Gertrude in black silk and Miss Mary Jarves in heliotrope henrietta. The bridal presents were many and valuable. Messrs. Tom Smith, of Rome, Homer Cunyus, of Taylorsville, John Elrod of Gordon county, were also present and aided wonderfully in the waltzing and in the music which was greatly enjoyed by all until 12 o’clock, when the happy pair left for their riverside home, six miles northeast of Rome, accompanied by Mr. Smith and Everard Mobley. We wish for them a long and prosperous life attended with much sunshine and happiness.
