Two Hearts That Beat As One.
The Marriage of Mr. Will A. Montgomery and Miss Mary E. Fite Last Evening.

Mr. Will. A. Montgomery and Miss Mary E. Fite were united in marriage last evening, at the residence of the bride’s brother, Mr. A. W. Fite.  The marriage was a quiet one, none but the families of the happy contractors being present.  Rev. W. H. Cooper, pastor of the Baptist church, performed the interesting ceremony.

After the marriage and when congratulations were in a measure concluded, the whole party repaired to the residence of the groom’s father, Col. M. G. M. Montgomery, where a superb ??? was served.  The blending of these two lives was a happy fulfillment of a fortunate selection by each. The rare sweetness and beauty and grace of the bride are special endowments vouchsafed her lavishly, yet they do not by any means constitute the sum of her charms, for her grace of mind and heart, her modesty, refinement and joyous and sunny nature, are some of the characteristics that make her the lovely woman that she is.  The groom is as he ought to be, the happiest man on earth, his smiling countenance last evening wore a gladder, a brighter and a broader smile than ever.  Will is a genial, jolly, royally good fellow, universally popular, but its hard to think of him as a Benedict.
