Moon-Payne.

The home of Mr. L. B. Matthews, on yesterday morning was the scene of a quiet yet interesting marriage, the contracting parties being Mr. R. T. Moon and Miss Corrie Payne. The ceremony was performed by Rev. John L. Moon, a brother of the groom, who is a Methodist minister now located at Social Circle. The marriage occurred at 9 o’clock in the presence of relatives of the parties and a number of invited friends.

After the ceremony the couple were the recipients of the congratulations of those assembled. They boarded the southbound passenger at 10:20, for Atlanta, which is to be their future home.

Mr. Moon, the groom, is a son of Mr. P. L. Moon, and is a splendid young business man. He now holds a situation with the Globe Shoe and Clothing Co., of Atlanta.

The bride is a very attractive young lady and is the daughter of Mr. E. Payne. The best wishes of numerous friends follow them in their matrimonial journey.
