Captured at Last.

In Atlanta, at two o’clock, at the residence of Judge S. B. Hoyt, Mr. Robert W. Murphey, of Cartersville, married Miss Georgia B. Russell, of Atlanta, Rev. John Jones officiating. Besides the gratification it will convey, this item will be received with some little astonishment by the many friends of the happy groom, for he has always been considered invulnerable to cupids darts. He enjoys the respect and confidence of an army of friends, and his bride will find that she has chosen wisely. May the happiness vouchsafed to true lover, be with them always.

Murphy-Russell wedding

Our friend, Mr. Robert W. Murphy, whose law office is next door to The Free Press, has been reclaimed by matrimonial regeneration, and is now a quiet and happy benedict. He has deserted the solitary and lonely abode of bachelor life by uniting himself in a life partnership with Miss Georgia B. Russell, of Atlanta, which event occurred yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon, the ceremony being performed by Rev. John Jones, at the home of our friend, Judge D. B. Hoyt. What shall we say about it except that we wish the happy couple a prosperous and joyful life? No more shall our friend buffet the wild waves of single life, but will glide over the matrimonial sea with a light heart and a loved companion. Mr. and Mrs. Murphy arrived in Cartersville last night on the Kingston accommodation train, and took up quarters at the St. James.
