An Interesting Ceremony.
Mr. Isadore Scheuer and Miss Julia Baer United in Marriage.

Last Sunday at 12:30 o’clock in the afternoon Mr. Isadore Scheuer, of Cedartown, and Miss Julia Baer, of Germany, were united in marriage, the ceremony taking place at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Mose Scheuer, on Market street, Rev. Isaac Stemple, of Macon officiating.

On account of the recent severe illness of the groom the marriage was a very quiet one, only the relatives and a few invited friends being in attendance. Among those of the latter were Mr. and Mrs. Adler and Mrs. and Miss Rosenfield, of Atlanta.

The ceremony was quite an interesting one. It was the only marriage in the Jewish ritual that has ever occurred in this city.

The bridal party was complimented with an elegant dinner by Mr. and Mrs. Scheuer, at which many tempting delicacies and well prepared substantials were served. The bride and groom took the 4:45 afternoon train for Ashville, N. C., where they will pleasantly spend a week or so before returning to their future home in Cedartown.

Congratulations and good wishes of all are showered on the bride and groom. The latter is well known and liked in this city where he resided for many years before embarking in business in Cedartown. His bride is a sister of Mrs. Moses Scheuer and is quite an attractive and accomplished young lady. She has been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Scheuer for the past two months and has won the respect and love of all with whom she came in contact.
