Mr. John L. Smith was married to Miss Annberry Collins, at the Methodist church on last Wednesday night, Rev. B. E. L. Timmons officiating, assisted by Rev. Sam Jones.

The attendants were James Knight and Miss Belle Collins; John M. Dobbs and Miss Lola Puckett.  The church was filled with the friends of the contracting parties.

The bride is a young lady of rare qualities, possessing the charms of a sweet disposition and gentle manners.  The groom is a gentleman deservedly popular, and one of Cartersville’s most prosperous and successful grocery merchants.

The happy couple have a host of friends who wish them a long life of prosperity and joy.
