“Adairsville News.”

Cupid seems to have been busy with his arrows of late, and Hymen was not slow to finish the work. Tuesday evening at seven o’clock, by Rev. Mr. Latimer, at the residence of Mr. C. G. Gholston, Mr. Henry Sowell, of Centre, Ala., and Miss Louise Gholston were married. The affair had been kept so quiet that it was not known by their most intimate friends until Tuesday. There was no one present save the family and a few relatives. We learn that Mr. Sowell is a prosperous young farmer. Miss Louise is one of popular young ladies and we regret to give her up. They will remain here some days, then leave for their home in Alabama. In the language of Rip Van Winkle, “May they live long and prosper.”
