The following marriage notice appeared in the Dallas (Tex.) News Sunday, December 20th:

“J. L. Luther, of 364 East Side avenue, announces the approaching marriage of his niece, Miss Margaret Ava Pettit, of Cartersville, Ga., to James Joseph Stone, of this city.  The wedding will take place on Thursday, December 24.  Mr. Stone left yesterday for Cartersville.

“He will soon return after the new year and will resided at 149 Alcade street after January 15.”

The couple will take tea with Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Griffin on Tuesday evening.
