Married at the residence of our fellow-townsman, Mr. B. F. Godfrey, on Thursday, the 28th, ult., by the Rev. R. B. O. England, Mr. C. H. Strickland, of Gordon county, Ga., to Miss Belle Kingberry, of this place. The bride has long been a favorite in Cartersville society, and her Christian virtues are known far and near. She formerly lived here, but more recently has been residing near Fairmount. She is every way fitted to make the home of the fortunate groom one of joy and happiness. The groom is a successful young farmer of Gordon county and is held in high esteem by all who know him. The Free Press wish the happy couple unbounded happiness and bliss, and that their future career may be pleasant, and not marred by the hand of misfortune.
