Married at the residence of Capt. T. A. Rogers, Stilesboro Mills, Bartow county, Ga., Wednesday, Oct. 15th, 1879 by Rev. J. E. Jones, assisted by Rev. S. W. Newel, Dr. J. D. UPSON, of Gainesville, Ga., and Miss FANNIE H. ROGERS.  After participating in the pleasant repast given by Mrs. M. L. Flowers, of this place, amid the kind wishes of many friends who accompanied them to the depot, they left for Atlanta from whence they go to Gainesville.  In connection with their many friends, we wish them, through life, prosperity and happiness.  May heavens choicest blessings, sweet as rainbow mists that steal through the silken leaves of roses, shower on all their joyous hopes.  May their lives as one harmonious dream of existence, disencumbered of all earth—attempered opacity, glide on to the more beauteous realms of love and wisdom’s blending.
