Mr. J. W. Wallace, of Wallace, Fairfield county, S. C., was united in the crystal bonds of matrimony to Miss Ella Milner, one of our most fascinating young ladies, at the residence of Judge Milner on September 1st. The ceremony was performed in a very impressive manner by the Rev. Theo E. Smith, pastor of the Presbyterian church at Cartersville. The attendants were:

Willie Young and Miss Sallie Milner, Richard Milner and Miss Lillie Young, Dr. W. B. Leake and Miss Fannie White, A. M. Willingham and Miss Mamie Gilbert.

The parlor was handsomely decorated, showing the most delicate taste and was fitly appropriate to the occasion. A beautiful feature of the occasion was the wedding march, which sent forth its melodious strains as the bridal party entered the room, by the talented young musician, Miss Lula White. The whole affair was one of pleasure, except the thought of losing the bride from our midst, but we console ourselves with the thought that our loss is the groom’s gain for truly he has won a bride while she a tender, loving husband. May heaven’s choicest blessings ever rest on them.
