Bishop and Mrs. Eugene Russell Hendrix announce the marriage of their daughter Evangeline to Mr. George Houston Waring. The marriage will take place on Feb. 22nd at Righi Kulm Nosledge Place, Kansas City, Missouri.

Invitations have been received by friends in this county to the marriage of Rev. L. Ethelbert Roberts and Miss Lola McWhorter, at the residence of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. McWhorter, at McHenry, Ga., at twelve o’clock, Wednesday morning, February 16th inst. Rev. L. E. Roberts is the pastor of Raccoon Baptist church, near Stilesboro, and Miss Lola McWhorter is one of the most popular young ladies of Gordon county. They will reside at Rockmart.
