MUSTER ROLL OF COMPANY I, 63rd REGIMENT GEORGIA VOLUNTEER INFANTRY C. S. A. BARTOW AND OTHER COUNTIES
This company was organized in December 1862 , and served throughout the war. This regiment, from December 1862 – May 1864 , was assigned to the Dept. of South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida, defending the Georgia and South Carolina coasts in the vicinity of Savannah, Ga. Around the middle of May 1864, it joined the Army of Tenn. and fought with this command until the surrender of General Johnston at Greensboro, N. C.
