“Home Brevities.”

Mr. Henry Milner, of Leeds, Ala., the only brother of Maj. Wm. Milner, spent several days this and last week with his brothers and other relatives.  Mr. Milner is 74 years of age, but from his movements you would not judge him to be over 40 or 50 years old.  He is an old citizen of Bartow county, in his day known as Cass county.

*********************************

Speaking of remarkable families, notable cases of longevity, etc., one of Cartersville’s citizens, Mr. John T. Owen, informed a Courant American man the other day that his father and mother raised a family of sixteen children – ten daughters and six sons – lived to see thirteen of them grown and twelve are now living, the youngest of which is forty.  They are all hale and hearty, unless it is Mr. Owen, who claims that he is the most delicate of the lot.
