Probably the oldest person now living in Bartow county, or in this part of Georgia, is Mrs. Charlotte Sylar, of this city, who on Monday reached her ninety-sixth birthday. Mrs. Sylar is in fair health now, possesses a good memory on events of thirty or forty years ago, but cannot remember things of more recent occurrence. She is the grandmother of Mr. F. M. Word.
