The city sexton reported seven interments for March, all negroes, and two of them non-residents.

Col. J. J. Howard passed his 74th mile post last Tuesday and the event was celebrated by a family reunion at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Howard. An elegant dinner was prepared and a most pleasant time spent. It is hoped Colonel Howard will live to see the return of many more such happy occasions.

Cass Station.

Our population was increased last week by the arrival of two bouncing baby boys, one at the home of Rev. A. J. Buford and the other to gladden the heart of C. M. Quillian.
