Miss Jessie Cobb has gone to Avalon, Ga., to attend the marriage of her cousin Miss Lena Cooper, which occurs today.

Mrs. Carter Williams has returned home from Knoxville, Tenn., where she went to attend the sickbed of her mother, Mrs. L. P. Hoss, who died after she reached her, some ten days ago.
