A sad accident happened to a little child near the bridge on Etowah river last Saturday the 10 th. The mother had left two little children and gone out where her husband was working and she heard the children screaming and in reaching the house found the youngest only about two years old burnt so badly that it died in a short time. I did not learn the name of the family.
