“City Affairs.”

Mrs. M. T. Gilliam, of Kingston, has in her possession a book which is 337 old. It is pronounced a rare curiosity by those who have seen it. The inner pages look bright and clear, the printing looking as though it were just lately executed. The edges of the leaves, however, have a ragged and dingy look, while the binding is full of rough irregular holes made by insects. The book is an old German work.
