“City Affairs.”

We should have announced the marriage of Miss Lillie Comer last week, in Maysville, instead of Miss Lucy Newton, who has many friends here.

*****

A swell wedding in colored high life, was that of Miss Anna Smith to Rev. T. Matthews, on last Thursday evening. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Mr. Jackson.

*****

On Tuesday evening, November 14, at the home of the bride’s father, Mr. J. S. Beasley and Miss Lucy Saggus were united in marriage, Rev. E. B. Barrett officiating. The groom is one of the most promising young farmers of this community, while the bride is one of best young ladies. They have the best wishes of the people of Stilesboro.
