“Affairs in the City”

An infant child of Mr. and Mrs. E. Matthews, died on Tuesday and was buried yesterday. It was only four months old.

Mr. J. C. Wofford, accompanied by his family, last week visited an uncle who lives in the extreme northeast corner of the country, Mr. Myers Cochran. Mr. Cochran is now 83 years old. He has 63 grandchildren, and all of them were at his house last week. Mr. Wofford said it was an extraordinary sight.
