“Over the County.”

Farmers can only sit in the corner and sigh and chunk up the fire.

Snow the past week nine inches deep.

Messrs. G. M. Pinion and Will Rogers killed fifteen rabbits on Tuesday of last week.

The mail was snow bound Saturday.

This has been the worst winter in many years. Farmers haven’t done any work yet. We hope that winter will not come in the spring this year.

Miss Ada Bishop has a school at Double Springs.

T. W. Rogers has a fine school at Corbin, with over 40 pupils.
