The body of Ed Stocks was removed from the cemetery here and shipped to Atlanta for burial in “ Oakland” last week. He was buried here about five years ago.

Mr. T. N. Stanford received a telegram announcing the death of his brother, Mr. J. F. Stanford, at his home near Dalton yesterday morning. He went up on the afternoon train to attend the funeral.
