“Brief Local Items.”

A telegram received here announced the death of Mrs. J. P. Neal, who died last Sunday morning at 11 o’clock at Tehula, Miss. Mrs. Neal was a daughter of the late Dr. Young and a sister of Misses Minnie and Fannie Young, of this city.


Mr. and Mrs. John W. Davis returned a few days ago from Huntsville, Ala., where they were called on account of the sickness of Mr. L. W. McCravy, a brother of Mrs. Davis. He died while they were there and they attended the funeral. He was 26 years of age.
