Mr. J. F. Daniel is receiving congratulations from his many friends and is wearing an unusual happy smile, owing to the arrival of a fine girl baby at his home on last Monday morning, weighing 9 ½ pounds.

Grassdale.

Mr. G. R. Gibbons celebrated his eighty-fifth birthday on November 1 th (blurry, could be 10th or 11).  His descendants of three generations took part in the celebration, and partook of the good things prepared by his two daughters, who are at home with him.  Mr. and Mrs. Will Gibbons and little daughter, from near Rome, were present and spent a couple of days with relatives.
