Strange things sometimes happen, under the sun. We were informed by Major Lucas, a few days since, that a negro woman whom he had in his employ, but who had been compelled to quit him on account of inability to work, a few nights ago gave birth to three living children, two of whom have since died and the third one was living and doing well at last accounts. |
