A Card. I desire to thank the good people of Cartersville for their kindness and sympathy extended to me during my recent great bereavement. They will ever have a warm spot in my heart. ******************** The study of “Southern Writers” is proving to be instructive. This club has formed themselves in a civic improvement club as it seems and a great deal of good work has been done. Not only has its work been done on the park which is being made, but nearly $100 have been expended on the cemetery, which was in a deplorable condition. ******************** East Side Notes. Little Willie Miller, nephew of Mrs. Hamiter Ford, has gone to live with his uncle. He was a brave little man to make the trip from Los Angeles alone, only six years of age. |
