Mrs. Sallie Carey, Mrs. J. Lindsey Johnson, Miss Letitia Johnson, of Rome, Mrs. Sam Erwin, of Chattanooga, Miss Hattie Jones, of Murfreesboro, and Mrs. Alfred Truitt, of Atlanta, were among those in the city last week who came to be near their sorrowing friends at the death of their loved ones.  On account of these three deaths in our midst, sadness rests heavily upon our entire community.  The hearts of the people have been touched with deepest sympathy for the bereaved ones.
