Mrs. Lula Kay and her three daughters Misses Ida, Beulah and Mamie, and son, Frank, went visiting Sunday.

Mr. Will Corbin, formerly of this place, but residing at present in Sherman, Tex., is visiting his sister, Mrs. L. E. Kay, and taking treatment for cancer under Dr. Asbury Lipscomb, who is a cancer specialist.  He is very sick at present from the worry caused by the trip to Georgia.

A baby boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. John Knoller last week.

Mr. and Mrs. M. O. Carson, of Tyler, Texas, are the guests of Judge and Mrs. G. W. Hendricks.  Mr. Carson was born and reared in this county but moved to Texas about 18 or 20 years ago.  Mr. Carson is doing quite well in the Lone Star state and holds a responsible position with the railroad shops at Tyler, Texas.  He has accumulated considerable property during his stay there.
