There were two interments in the cemetery last Tuesday. The hearse made the two trips without a change of horses, a circumstance never known before in Cartersville. ******************** The inquisitive census enumerators started Monday. Now wouldn’t we like to stand off at a safe distance and see little Bob Patillo lamed through a key-hole when he goes to ask our girl how old she is. ******************** Maj. Nicholson is ninety-one years old this month. He is the oldest man in the city. We hope the kind old gentleman’s last few mile-posts in life will be passed by a pathway strewn with the flowers of peace and happiness. |
