Mr. G. Shaw has purchased Mr. Geo. Crowell’s house and lot. The latter gentleman moves to Texas in two or three weeks. We are sorry to give you up George, but a full measure of success we wish you.

Mr. G. Hills and family left for Waco, Tex. Last Tuesday, where they expect to make their future home.

In Dooly county, Dr. C. T. Stovall’s baby about twenty months old, while out in the yard playing around a wash pot which had fire under it, had its clothing caught on fire and was badly burned. But for the timely arrival of its mother it would likely have burned to death in a few minutes.
