Cass Sheriff’s Sales.

…Also, one negro boy, John, 16 years old, John Mitchell, a boy 8 years old, Aaron, a boy 12 years old, and Jane, a girl 7 years old; levied on as the property of James McGinnis, to satisfy a fi fa from Cass Superior Court, in favor of J. A. & S. Erwin, vs. James McGinnis, and other fi fas in my hands vs. the same.—Said fi fas controlled by Wm. Solomon.

….Also, one negro boy, Major, about 16 yrs. old; levied on as the property of Wm. Hardin, deceased, to satisfy a fi fa from Cass Superior Court in favor of J. W. B. Summers, vs. Jas. Milner and Mark A. Hardin, Executors of Wm. Hardin, deceased.

….Also, Lots of land Nos. 554, 600, 601, 624, and 672, in the 17th dist, and 3d sec., and two negroes—Hezekiah, about 55 years old, and Rebecca, about 46 yrs. old; one rockaway carriage, one bay horse, 8 yrs. old, one black horse 6 yrs. old and one roan pony; levied on by James Vaughan, former Deputy Sheriff, as the property of Enoch B. Presley, to satisfy sundry fi fas from Cass Superior Court—one in favor of L. M. Wyly & Co., one in favor of Stevens & Betts, one on favor of Wyly, Banks & Co., and one from Cass Inferior Court, in favor of Rankin, Duryee & Co., fi fa controlled by Andrew F. Wooley, vs. said Presley.

….Also, one negro boy, Wesley, about 11 yrs. old; levied on to satisfy two fi fas from Cass Superior Court—one in favor of F. C. Bailey and one on favor of W. A. Thrash, vs. Wm. A. Templeton.
